Are you looking for a simple, fun way to explore Southern California this summer?
I put together a free printable Southern California Summer Fun List for families to use this summer, which you can download below. It includes 9 ways to explore Southern California this summer:
- find a new-to-you park or playground
- explore a tide pool
- visit a regional or state park/beach
- visit a botanical garden or nature center
- go on a hike or nature walk… even if it’s short!
- splash in a creek, river, lake, or pond… or just enjoy the view from the shore
- visit an aquarium, children’s museum, or natural history museum
I hope this gives you a framework to guide your explorations this summer and perhaps help you check out some new or long-forgotten places, while still making it flexible for your needs.
Also, I have a post about how I’m planning the rest of my own family’s summer this year - if you’re interested you can check it out here.
Whatever part of Southern California you’re in, I hope you’ll have fun exploring together as a family in the months ahead!
